DRY PTFE OIL

743

DESCRIPTION

Dry PTFE lubricant coating, to treat mechanical parts of metal and plastic, where no residues of oil or grease are desired. Extremely low coefficient of friction and high lubricity. Non sticky lubricant film. Adhesion to a wide range of materials. Preventing accumulation of dust or dirt. Excellent lubrication of plastic materials. It is also extremely stable thermally (up to 300°C). PTFE dry film is essentially insoluble in all nonfluorinated solvents.

FEATURES

  • Dry, surface lubricant
  • PTFE dry leaves no residues of oil or grease (dry film)
  • Prevents wear and sticking
  • High penetration lubricant reinforced with PTFE
  • Forms a tough lubricating film on metal surfaces
  • Extremely low coefficient of friction
  • Creates a non sticky lubricant film
  • Excellent adhesion
  • Resistant to weather influences
  • Preventing accumulation of dust or dirt
  • Extremely stable thermally (up to 300°C)
  • 400ml

APPLICATION

Dry PTFE lubricant coating for lubrication of plastics, rubber materials and other light lubrications where a normal oil is undesirable. Lubrication of leather, plastics, and elastomers for use in drive belts, gaskets, packing’s, gears, bearings and sleeves, and chain drives.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Clean and dry parts before application with a standard degreaser. Apply on the place to protect or lubricate. Leave to evaporate/dry. Drying times of PTFE dry lubricant coatings are dependent on thickness of application. Optimal application at temperature: 10-25°C and humidity below 65% to ensure proper drying. Storage 5-35°C.

TIPS:

  • Use on room temperature
  • Store in a cool and dry area
  • Extremely flammable aerosol
  • Do not expose to heat, sparks or flames
  • Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source
  • Use only in a well ventilated area
  • Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection/hearing protection
  • Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F
  • Apply in fine even coats. Optimum lubrication is achieved once the solvent has evaporated
  • Shake can from time to time during use
  • Protect the object and the surrounding area from spray mist
  • KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND ANIMALS
